We adopt Project Approach and Theme Teaching to subject topics. Our subjects consist of Chinese, English, Putonghua, Japanese, Phonics, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Arts, Music, Physical Education and I.T. Through various learning methods, combined with indoor and outdoor themed activities, students at Ming Wai are encouraged to develop independent thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, teamwork, and more importantly, a love of learning.

Various interest classes at Ming Wai are designed to cultivate the diverse interests of students and maximize their potential. Students may enroll in English, Putonghua, or Japanese class. We also offer creative subjects such as Dance Class, Art Class, and Choir. Teams including the Road Safety Team, the Happy Bee Team, and the Grasshopper Team develop disciplinary and co-operation skills in team members. Every year, students participate in a variety of performances and competitions held by various organisations. Through parent meetings, seminars, reading schemes, environmental projects, parent-child arts and crafts and various other activities, students can broaden their scope of learning and increase their awareness of our community. Through collaborations with educational organisations on various projects such as “Art Education”, “Emotion Development” and “Healthy Kindergarten”, Ming Wai continues to pursue excellence in early childhood education.
